Nuggets from the Gold Mine

Somebody sent us a gold mine of communictions within the CRC. Reading through this stuff, I just had to comment. When the CRC and PFOX sued in May, they were apologetic and tried to claim that it was a last resort.

In fact they plotted to file the suit for months in advance. Here's their lawyer, John Garza:
Our lawyers win in Louisianna
The same lawyers who are taking our case just reversed a trial court which struck as unconstitutional the Louisianna same sex marriage ban. The La. Sup Court reversed and reinstated the law.

So back then, clearly, they were already working with those Florida lawyers, planning to file their suit at the last possible moment, so the school district would have no time to respond, and the judge would only be able to read the arguments from one side.

But then this, too, strikes me. Garza again, from the same day:
OK folks, I need anyone who wants to be a plaintiff in the case to send me an email with your name, address, email, phone, names of kids, school and grade. I need a set of plaintiffs for the federal lawsuit and a set for the State Board appeal. Two different sets. Our associate attorneys feel very confortable about these lawsuits. Also, if anyone knows of any TEACHERS WHO DO NOT WANT TO TEACH THIS STUFF, this presents another lawsuit...

You will recall that CRC and PFOX filed on their own. No students to complain, no "teachers who do not want to teach this stuff," nothing.

Apparently they couldn't find anybody.

I could point out that a week before this, on January 13th, the President of the CRC sent an email to the Einstein High School Yahoo group, saying:
THERE IS NO CRC LEGAL ACTION TAKING PLACE AGAINST ANYBODY!!!

How could anybody take these guys seriously?

Lawsuit was actually planned beginning in December 2004 a little over one month after BOE decision on health curriculum in November 2004. Here is John Garza on December 16, 2004.

Lawsuit?

Thanks to PFOX we have a constitutional lawyer willing to help pro bono. My group will coordinate this endeavor and will take no action without a vote of the board. What we need to line up are parents of children preferably in Middle or High School. The more the better. The current thinking is that we will file for an injunction to stop the implementation in Feb. 05 before the launch date in March. The lawsuit should be kept between us and or efforts to find parents willing to act, as plaintiffs should be done via word of mouth. We feel we have a strong case, but at the federal level in Maryland we tend to lose at the trial court and then win at the appeallate level. I sincerely hope we do not need to resort to this action and that our current efforts will prevail. A lawsuit is not how we want to win this battle. We want to win the war and our other efforts are what will result in ultimate victory.

From Jon Ward (February 2005)of Washington Times sent to Ellen C of Recall (CRC)

************************

Time for some research?

Here's Jon Ward's email to me today. I put it out for anyone with the time:

(I had asked why they didn't refer to Throckmoron as Dr.)
We only refer to people as Dr. if they are medical doctors.

By the way, if you already haven't, do some research on a couple things.
What's happening in MoCo started with 50 years ago with Kinsey, of course.
Two of his pals started Planned Parenthood and SIECUS (Sexuality Information
and Education Caucus of the United States), and the ideology extended then
into GLSEN (Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network), who has started their
own caucus within the NEA.

I may be telling you things you already know, but check out the connections
between GLSEN and the NEA.

Best

Jon Ward's comments
I think we need to get others on the CRC email to assist with this kind of stuff. Can you(Ellen) do a "blast" to the rest of the folks that have showed up at general meetings and done nothing else? This may be a way to spread the wealth and let others feel some ownership in our work.

Excuse me, Anon, can you fill us in a little bit here? I can't quite tell what's what here. Is this Jon Ward, the reporter for the Washington Times, collaborating with the group he is covering?

Appears so......As we all know Jon Ward of the Washington Times is included in private emails from the President of CRC relating to things such as:

Sent: Thursday, May 19, 2005 4:08 PM
Subject: FW: Ten Commandments

I did not know this. Did you?

It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore, it is very hard to understand why there is such a mess about having the Ten Commandments on display or "In God We Trust" on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the other 14% to Sit Down and SHUT UP!!!

Wonder if some would say that is a conflict for Jon Ward?

Hmmm...

Not exactly "Fair and Balanced", eh?

I have been in contact with a few of my friends and I do believe they would be very interested in being actively involved in whatever other meetings we will be attending.

There's no use arguing with these people.

They're too caught up believing in their fairy tales to open their eyes to REALITY.

I read something about how they shouldn't be doing any personal attacks.

I guess they kind of broke that little rule at one point.

We should get them flustered.

That way, the "general public" can see how psychotic their over-the-top jesusphilia is.
