CANDIDATE FORUM TODAY!

Come hear candidates for County Executive, County Council at large, and -- of course -- Board of Education.

All will speak briefly and take questions from the audience.

Plus, you'll probably have a chance to chat with most of them at the end.

The forum will be held at 6:30 PM, in the Town of Kensington Community Center, 3710 Mitchell Street, Kensington.

Go to www.tok.org for directions, or use your favorite mapping site.

This is going to be good.

Two great candidates who will support sanity and fact-based education:

Shirley Brandman (for BOE)

Nancy Navarro (for BOE)

Very nicely done Jim -
Learned exactly what I wanted to know...

Great turnout, but I invited 600 of our folks on Saturday as well :-)

Hey, what happened to the press ?

Theresa, we really didn't do this for the press. As you saw, there were about 160 people there, people who came out on a Monday night, first night of the school year, to hear these candidates answer some tough questions -- including yours!

I don't think we invited anyone from the press, maybe somebody sent a reporter an email that I didn't hear about, but we didn't put out a press release or especially announce this to them.

Any recommendations on traditional values candidates, Theresa?
